Many of the pages on this site explain particular tuning systems in quite a bit of detail. We worked with experts in various tuning traditions, both to develop the tuning presets in Live and also to provide information about them on this site.

But there's no need to go through every page. There's a lot of information here, and it might be a bit overwhelming if you try to read it in order like a book. In fact, we encourage you to jump around, play, explore, listen to what you hear, and most importantly, have fun!
